Last Moments Poem by Tatianna Rogers

Last Moments

Rating: 5.0

Rough to the touch

But you hold it close hoping the warmth can console

The uneasy feel of a white room

The uneasy smell of disinfectant and hospital food

But you both sit there in silence

Hoping that death's flat line doesn't interrupt that peace

all of a sudden you feel a chill and for the first time

You are truly alone
