Last Night Is In Sight
L-ast night is in sight,
U-sing the cold dark shadow;
I-t's just nine dawns away,
S-o keep your hope
A-glow.
A-nother last night is in sight,
B-eginning this December twenty-second;
E-agerly wait for final evening,
J-ust let the old year end.
U-nderneath the black sky,
E-arnestly look to see the light;
L-et the fireworks be in place,
A-s last night is in sight.
