Late Night Had Run Its Course Poem by Luo Zhihai

Late Night Had Run Its Course

Late Night Had Run Its Course
(Two Pairs of Couplets●Thirteen Words of Quatrain)

Window poor and room humble, green lamp and yellow volume, severe cold winter talked in its sleep
Late night had run its course, day went and night came, scorching summer in its revery
Climbed Solid North Tower, chatted Six Dynasties, drank the spring breeze wine together
Read The Romance of West Chamber, admired and missed one night, again inscribed the autumn moon poetry
