Lawson Poem by Ramona Thompson

Lawson

A fellow cop is blasted out by his ex partner

Lay the law down to me and you will soon see that it will only get you nowhere fast
Authority and all its worthless leaders have never been anything that I have found worthy of my respect
Why start changing that now with you?
Slow, dim-witted, crooked pig in blue
Oh how I'd love to shove that badge right up where it truely belongs
No hero to me and you never will be

2008 Ramona Thompson
