Lay The Wreath Here Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Lay The Wreath Here

Rating: 5.0

One day I shall be able
To proclaim free from struggle
World as one place to live
Faith too only one and believe

I may not be living on earth
It shall be taken over by death
My children and grand may witness
The happy earth’s smiling face

They have amassed weapons of destruction
I hope He may take care not to issue any instruction
He will fill their hearts with loves’ passion
The life will provide good occasion

We have no other piece of land
Same globe can be made worthwhile friend
Let blacks and whites live in no man’s surface
Where worry is no more and fear to chase

Still many more centuries may go in for exploration
With bloodiest wars and strained relation
Still we will leave no hope behind
Human race may survive with little flop show

How many are loosing lives per day?
There is no use of keeping account in any way
Keep in mind only one thing
Life is precious and wanted for something

If not we then our future generation
May quote our tireless efforts with citation
“Lay the wreath here” may read the marble stone
Your sacrifice may be remembered and not go in vane

You write a lot. I rated you high on this just because anyone that puts this much effort into writing deserves some credit. Cheers. I'm new here and not sure how this process works, but.... It is clear that English is not your first language. I would like to suggest that you stop rhyming and use free form. Just say what you have to say and don't worry if it rhymes. It also lets you put words in an order that is natural.
