I saw sling of light
Hanging and swinging in outer space
Strung across the sky
Like a highway to far off lands
I saw hope swaying in the wind
Tossed about in despair
And a light appeared
Hope clung on it for dear life
I saw dead wood
Sorrow all barefooted going nowhere
Doubt snarling from a thorn bush
With the river sparkling and smiling in defiance
Do we have to hear their silence
Must they smile or frown
Where toxicity do not matter
There the crazy are just as good as the lazy.
