i am tired of this boring life
no longer do i want to strive
cant i just have a little freedom, a little fun?
im told that i have plenty of time, that my life has just begun

but i dont want to be held captive anymore
being told what do, i can no longer ignore
because i want to be able to make my own mistakes
dont any of you have a little trust in me? because i've got what it takes

to make it in this cruel, lonely place
you tell me that if i leave i will be a disgrace
but let me tell you that i do not care
this is my decision, so respect, you cannot say that you were unaware
