Seems that everything has changed
It seems now it's all over
That we have both moved on in life
And found a different shoulder
Though every time I pass you by
Alone it seems all better
But when you pass by with her at your side
I feel a sudden pain get tighter
I want to forget everything
I want to change my ways
I'd like to still be friends
But the wrenching pain inside me feels like it will never end
So I should burn those letters
Should I tear apart those notes
And what about that necklace
That once held all those hopes
It's difficult to take
But I feel like it's getting better
That one day I'll forget everything
And leave this past behind forever
