Left Alone Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

Left Alone

I am like a vessel left into
A sea full of tides of woes;
Jealous monsters serenading
The depth try to pull me in.
I hear the echo of their grunts.
I feel the ups and downs
The lows and highs and the
Sharp curves of the hozon.
I feel suffocated half submerged.
Sometimes, someone would
Pick me up to the boat to
Guess my worth and toss me
As a piece of metal worth
Urinating over. I enjoy the
Changing colors of waters
With changing moods of
The wandering clouds above.
The struggle with wind and
Tides will go on till I will
Run out of metal in me.
