Left To Win Their Arguments Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Left To Win Their Arguments

How deep can discussions get,
With those in a constant fling...
With low life?
And the company enjoyed,
That low life to them brings?

They would rather be led off course,
Like blind horses...
Than to take advantage of resources,
That enhance their quality of life and well being.

If it is not reflected from the gutter...
They utter their disapproval.
And then say...
No one cares about them or their lives.
And of course...
They are left to win their arguments.
And of course...
When this is done,
They extend to those of good intentions...
An immediate message of their resentment,
Sent!
