Legacy Poem by Matthew Holloway

Legacy

Legacy
~
I wonder on my legacy
If there is to be any
Once I am dead and gone
Long forgotten
Just a name on a tomb
That none shall read
Should I care?
If flowers are placed
Or the grass is cut
That a stone becomes hidden
In some future overgrowth
No there is no sense in worry
What will be is what will be
I shall live and die
Never to know
My legacy
