Il y a les petites maisons blanches et les orangiers,

Il y a le vin rouge, l'ale espagnole aux noix,
Le bruit trainant des danseurs, l'histoire du vieux loup de mer,
Le violin grincant, le murmure dans la voile
Des Alizes poussant.
Et la nuit il y a des lucioles et la lune jaune,
Et parmi les plmiers spectrals l'air somnolent
De la voix calme m'appelant, la longue chanson basse de charme
