Less Is More…
In a world of want
Some proudly flaunt
Beaming excessively
Accumulating obsessively
Never completely fulfilled
Overflowing until spilled
Gathering without need
Super saturated with greed
Possessing more rings than fingers
Apprehensiveness grows and lingers
Storing jewels in a vault
Fearing the thief’s assault…
Adorned with only a smile
Released from fear all the awhile
Reconsidering material treasures
Appreciating simple pleasures
