Let God Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Let God

In sleep my old friend whispers
But no one hears
She has gone crazy
But dares and stands ready

She is crying for age
As she is unable to write on page
I wish her good sleep
And best health to keep

She is teacher
And well wisher
With high sense of humor
Lives with honor

She has large family
But shares burden willingly
No complaint, no remorse
She has joy of life of course

I cherish such friends
Who always stand?
Against odd and face
Let god always bless
