Let It Be! Poem by Professor Dr. Stanley Collymore

Let It Be!

Don’t ask me to say or express in any way something
that I don’t feel or want to be a part of however
much that might alleviate the need on your
part to have me do so. For I can only act
in accordance to how my conscience
dictates and, regrettably, this is
not a situation where I can
ignore it and accede to
your wishes; and
furthermore I
don’t really
want to.

We should all act in accordance with the dictates of our conscience and not be pushed into accepting others' points of view f we do not agree with them. Well said.
