Let It Slide(Wishing Wellness Of An Old Man

The old man looked
out of his window
watching the young
woman across the street
a woman so shapely and
so beautiful
he couldn't believe
what he was seeing
He thought to himself
if I was thirty years
younger
I wouldn't just be watching
I'd be trying to make
some time with her
If I was thirty years
young
I wouldn't hesitate
to give it a go
but I'm an old man now
and all I can do
is let it slide
