Let Me Be Poem by April Humason

Let Me Be

Rating: 5.0

In whispered prayers, let me be the cherry
Resting gently upon Your tree.
A fragile heart, learning You're near me,
Safe in what You see in me.

Let me be the softness You mold,
A quiet soul You choose to hold.
In Your arms, I'm never cold,
In Your truth, I grow bold.

Let me be the stream You guide,
Flowing calmly at Your side.
Where fear can't live and shame can't hide,
Where love and mercy rise like tide.

Let me rest in sacred ground,
Where peace and purpose can be found.
Where broken dreams are unbound,
And hope is silently crowned.

Let me walk with gentle grace,
Learning to trust Your steady pace.
In every storm, You are my place,
Your light wrapped around my face.

Let me shine what You restore,
A soul made whole forevermore.
Not seeking less, not needing more—
Just You, my God, whom I adore.

Let me be Yours, quiet and still,
Aligned with Heaven, shaped by will.
Here I stand, and always will—
Safe in love, beyond all thrill.
