before I die,
let me play the flute
and sing you a song.
I am have nothing to tell you
but whisper of my heart.
I have nothing to offer you
but sweetness of my soul.
all will disappear into nothingness-
this sun, moon, mountain, river; all.
I too will disappear
into elegant embrace of emptiness.
immortality is not for me
enlightenment is not for me.
humble being I am, I have humble desire-
before I die,
I want to play the flute
and sing you a song.
