Let us send a prayer to God today
For those who hurt inside
Who have or had troubling times
Hurt that will not subside.

Perhaps they were let down by those
Who should have stood tall and strong
From a distance, we don't have an answer
What was right or what was wrong.

So much is there with those who care
Behind the scenes of life
Families are so complex, of course
A husband, some kids and a wife.

Families fall apart and folks' take sides
The hurt just grows and grows
But let's find it in our hearts to pray
For certain it is God who knows.
