Let The Enemies Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Let enemies shiver
And whisper
“We are for peace and stability”
Now no more terrorism and hostility

Yes we expect change
New concept with young age
India waits for it eagerly
As young generation can not wait patiently

We have seen lawlessness in day light
How women were molested and raped to their delight!
Where humanity was shamed and brought shame
Whom were we going to blame?

The politicians and police nexus was openly seen
The stick yielding police with brutality was normal scene
The innocent people were mercilessly beaten
They were made to run and taken to jail

If these were the indication of past
We may certainly want it to end fast
Not over night magic or with highhandedness
But with firm decision and toughness
