Let The New Day Dawn Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

Let The New Day Dawn

Rating: 5.0

L-et the new day dawn,
E-nding the dark and gray;
R-aindrops stop from falling,
M-ay fourth takes the night
A-way.

Q-uest for the morning light,
U-ntil the dusk is over;
I-lluminate the moment,
T-ime to feel much better.
A-fter the chill has gone,
N-o longer I'm feeling cold;
E-vening shadows disappear,
G-ray clouds are put on hold.

G-ive way to the sunrise,
A-llow it to shine so bright;
R-adiant rays from above
C-reate emotion that I write.
I-mages that I portray are brought not to oblivion;
A-s I look up in the sky, let the new day dawn.
