Let Us Be Friends Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Let Us Be Friends

Rating: 5.0

How can you be sitting there and, tell me that your care? !

Please, let us be friends than intimate lovers;

Glad and kind to all mankind,

To see us together as friends than intimate lovers.

I still love you,

And, i know that you do love me as well;

So, let the past melt away so easily like ice cream.

Let us enhance the status-quo of each other!

Today is now and, tomorrow is unknown;

Yes, the future! !

But, i will always make your glad,

With the works of the truth.

Let us be friends,

And, don't misunderstand my status in times like this;

Think about those days!

Wake up;

With sincerity and true love.

Think about it now with a smiling face!

For, that's how best friends are;

Let us be friends than intimate lovers.
