Malayalis- another name for Keralites. they are very enterprising people. One may find them in the remotest parts of the world- even in places like Alaska.. probably set up a grocery store or a tea shop >they can acclimatize easily. The Middle East was rebuilt from deserts to sprawling empires with the help of malayali labour.
Now Kerala is devastated. obviously Keralites will plunge head on towards rebuilding their state. It is a big challenge - we Indians and other well wishers have to contribute our mite in this regard.
