Let Us Wake Up Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Let Us Wake Up

Rating: 5.0

Here lies our future
Time appears and fast disappears
It is quest for growth and stability
We are all poor in quality

We care for nothing
Destroy the nature for something
Not knowing what we must think?
Dug the hole to fall in and sink

Rain does its function
There is life with its induction
Many insects and greenery emerge
Life is all about to think and purge

As time and tide waits for none
It may never come back once gone
The water over logs and some peeps underground
It has to re-taped and newly found

When will we think about motherland?
When will we come round and make it as friend?
We got to be eco-friendly and survive
If not then sea will be only the place left for us to dive

Change is must and needed
But such things are not traded
Natural wealth is for ancestral heritage
That must be maintained through all the ages

We may look back to find nothing
As our achievement for something
It might remain as dreaded past
Only we may disintegrate very fast

Let us wake up and stop poisoning
There is no room for any kind of reasoning
Preserve whatever you have for future generation
If not, at least resist move and show the declination
