Let Your Conscience Be Your Guide Poem by Audrey Heller

Sometimes, we have to let our
conscience, be our guide, then
do away, with foolish pride! Be
forthright, in whatever you do and
to yourself, always be true! See
things, exactly, as they are, then,
act accordingly. Don't keep the
blinders on, for if you do, what can,
you see? It's important, to be
cognizant, as to what's around you
and think things over, twice! Don't
jump into anything, use caution,
that's really, very sound advice!
Just let your conscience be your
guide and you can be assured,
you'll have a smooth ride!
