Picking a side was the hardest thing I had to do
Knowing I must live this life without having you
Fingers shaking more than my heart ever could
Beautiful, you are, right in front of me you stood
Saying this last goodbye won't come easy
Hoping those last two words never release me
From the things I never shared like your beauty
Having your smile was the greatest thing you gave to me
It's honestly killing me to let you go forever
Promised myself that love was just a never
Now I'm stuck in this darkness that I hate
Can't even see the light from which I try to escape
The only light I can remotely see
Is where I see yourself holding onto me
Going to miss you more than you'll ever know
Tried to hold on forever, but now I must let go
