CHUAN XING JI XING: Joy on a Walk in Spring
-- by Li Hua (715 - 774)
-- Translated by Frank C Yue
So luxuriant the grass beneath the Yi Yang city wall;
Eastwards, then westwards, the clear stream is a-rolling.
No one's around and scented trees let their flowers fall;
The Moon sets, the Spring-hill birds in vain are calling.
【春行寄興】 唐 • 李華
宜陽城下草萋萋,
澗水東流複向西。
芳樹無人花自落,
春山一路鳥空啼。
