Liars Honesty Poem by Dakota Ellerton

Liars Honesty

She took his hand,
and led him into her bed.
Slowly kissed down his neck,
and lifted off his shirt.
He felt the softness of her skin,
and slid his hands up her loose clothes.
He slid them off,
her long hair covering more something then nothing.
She laid down,
and pulled him on top of her shaking body.
High and restless,
she couldn't register the look on his face, or why it'd appeared.
She pulled him down closer,
to see into his eyes.
He wrapped his arms around her,
and held her as if never before.
She was so confused,
but happy none the less.
He moved to beside her,
and didn't say a word.
It was nearly heartbreaking,
to remember only hours ago she'd laid in anothers bed.
'Sex releases tension...caused by love',
such a fitting quote it'd of been to whisper.
She moved herself,
to pull him back on her chest.
Their lips had met,
and nearly never parted.
His hands ran across her body,
as if it were made of glass.
Her fingertips dug into his back,
with each movement he'd made.
It was a sin so beautiful,
I'd envy it myself.
An hour had gone by,
they laid embraced in eachothers realities.
Holding close to one anothers love.
Taking his hand,
she led him into the shower.
Pure water,
began washing away such dishonesty.
They'd caressed eachother.
He walked to her room to get dressed,
leaving her briefly in tears alone in front of a mirror.
The markings on her body,
weren't from his mouth.
Her heart sank to the depths of her stomach,
as she tried to pull herself together.
She casually walked into the room,
as if she hadn't noticed.
Without a second thought,
she pulled him in, as if begging forgivness.
Words ment for him,
had been wasted on another.
Misplaced and abused.
The moment he'd left her sight,
the tears had run endlessly.
The next few days,
she didn't leave her bed.
