Life... Poem by penfriend 4you

Life...

And after the unending slumber
There soar two eyes in queer
One bore the twinge of dear
Another saw himself in fear

Both saw the bright darkness
Enveloping him with unbolt dungeon
He skid upon the mirages of past
Stealing the receding passion

The vision slanted towards globe
And eyes treaded to paradise of grief
He was near to his lost world
But law of soul and cadaver was deaf

The supreme ordinance fabricated
The eternal river of sorrows
That can only scamper downhill
No one returns, once he goes

There he saw a shadow of him
Terrible like phantom in dreams
He pleaded for a life once more
“Let me, please, to cure my sins”

There the light bowed
“I may grant, but remember the words
You promised last time, the same
That turned you this from a Lord”
