Life Force - Poem by kevin glenn

A tap is such an ordinary thing
some Chrome by design some even have names
it sits on the sink as if it was king
waiting to be used for everyday things
But a tap on it's own can not be king
With out the water, it's not worth a thing

We turn on the tap, not amazed by a thing
As if by some miracle things don't change
The water is the most valuable thing
It keeps use alive and keeps use clean
So next time you turn the tap for a drink
Remember the tap is only the queen
