Life Is But A Song Poem by Ted Sheridan

Life Is But A Song

Rating: 5.0

You could live Life,
like there is no tomorrow

Rack your head
with the beat of Heavy metal
You can take on everyone
and everything

with bad attitude
or shrink away like a wimp
while you watch your dreams
and lovers all disappear.

You can bang on the drum
all day long
to any beat that you may choose
but in the end

when it is all said and sung,
Life is, as it begins
Not with rock and roll............
in fact

with little or no music at all
but only
a suttle change in chords.

truer words were never spoken. A keeper as poems go.
