Life Is Just An Illusion Poem by Julia Luber

Life Is Just An Illusion

Rating: 5.0

And we are all working on how Life Is Just An Illusion.
We are working it hard and some of us are putting in our ALL!
Investing every cell and molecule we have. And some of us KNOW
what it's like to not have many cells and molecules sometimes.
Oh, this is delicate. More delicate than a Fabergee egg.
Some of those Fabs have some outrageously strong bonding.
And bonding IS the most important force in this steady as you roll-
GAME! I hesitate. I think it not sometimes. Okay.
So it's a game that you might die in.
Is that called War? Not all die-that's for sure!
It's a high stakes game though- as remember how this started
and go back and repeat. I declare, Say That Again.
Life Is Just An Illusion.
So tell me, how can we care so much about something that
is only there in cognitive ways?
How can we care so much about something that strikes us through a
clinicism- a manufacturing of the mind-an Illusion.
Some people have so many advantages; it's not even funny.
Step back, hone in, asess, think out, plan out, plot out.
I so hope I am not teaching somebody who destroys me in the future
the way to do so. I so step back from my own strategy of instruction.
But what would I have to write a poem about if I did not sometimes
give my secrets away? Why would you bother to read me if I did not
sometimes give my secrets away.
I am "working it" big time- that time honored adage. Say it again,
Play It Again, Sam:
Life Is Just An Illusion.
Who is Sam? Were you even alive when that movie came out:
Play It Again, Sam.
But I am working on how Life Is Just An Illusion.
Nonetheless, there might be a part one and a part two,
and so on and so forth- Albeit.

And then there was touch. And some people flipped out,
freaked out, and fucked up when they wondered, as I do now,
Is touch just an illusion too?
Life Is Just An Illusion.

Okay, so, trick me into living it.
