Life Of Competition Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

Life Of Competition

Rating: 5.0

It is time for me to wake up
My eyes are heavy with sleep
But there are challenges to face
Though I like I can't sleep deep

I can't live my life as I wish
Can't take my food at a fixed time
I am afraid of losing my job
I can't even go for a walk or swim

I can't make friends or visit
Relatives and for long can't stay
In a place of my choice far from
Work, even sometimes I can't pray

Everyday night comes late for me
Sweet dreams are left midway
A fear is always there in the head
If I am late job will be snatched away

In this world of fierce competition
Everyone is trying to do his best
To excel in the field of his work
Always on the move shunning rest

In the simplest of ways, you have culled out the reality of today's life through this poem. Loved reading it. Thanks, Anil ji.

so true, just trying to maintain the status quo means missing out on many moments of joy.
