Something in common with everyone
That’s a goal I would like to reach
Be it walking my dog in a shady park
Or toes in the sand on a beach
The more that we have in common with others
The more we can understand
And tolerate all that we may not agree with
Creating a harmony, with fellow man
I ride my bicycle; you drive your sports car
You’re real fast, I am quite slow
But always keeping the other in mind
As to the same destination we go
Things that make sense to you; I see conspiracy!
Agreeing to just disagree all the while
Then taking the time to explain your point, then I see!
Shaking your hand as we part with a smile
As complications of life increase two-fold
The need for a harmonic world grows and grows
The calming words of a friend, and their hand to hold
Erase all effects of the stress that we know

So very true, what a great write, and a wonderful view.
