Life's Rich Tapestry Poem by Phil Soar

Life's Rich Tapestry

Rating: 5.0

Life's rich tapestry
Weeved like lace
Haunting majestically
Lines on my face
Years passing swiftly
Without waiting for
Something my destiny
Didn't explore

Daily adventures
That seek out temptation
Watching grandchildren
Treat life with elation
Touching brief moments
That make you inquire
If life's brief instalments
Match with your desire

Time is a sequence
We cannot replace
Once passed, it has gone
And left doubt on your face
So take what you can
From the hours and the minutes
And love Life's rich tapestry
And all that is in it.
