Life's Value
Life is not
A cakewalk
One must work
Hard to succeed.
Success is not
Easy to evaluate
It moves the heart
And inspires others.
Success is not
The wealth gained
In reality it is
The good you earned.
All the wealth
Does not give
The happiness you
Want in life.
All the help
You rendered others
Provides the needed
Satisfaction.
Do some good
And some service
Life then will
Build in value.
What brings satisfaction in life is not the wealth of material possessions one has earned, but the goodness one has achieved, the kindness one has shown and the service one has rendered! So beautifully put!
