Light Ii Poem by Susan Lacovara

Light Ii

What flashes now,

Like lightning strikes

With thunder pulses

My heartbeat spikes

In the long forgotten hours

When only moon light knows my name

Dare I dream

Dare I dream

You come again

Light III

In the Sandman' s sprinkled promises

You ride in from the storm

Chilled to the bone

(from your travels, alone)

I just wanna keep you warm

Just wanna keep you warm

'Til the morning pokes her head

Around the bend...

Dare I dream

Dare I dream

You come again

Great poem, even that wanna is cute and adds to the style. Read mine - To Be Completely Known and All Forgiven - Adeline
