Like A Light Rain Poem by Rajeswari A V

Like A Light Rain

Rating: 4.5

Removing blood stains and broken glasses
Out of the lone corridors of my heart
You cleaned my wounds with a smile
And let me sleep for while
Soothing my ears with your rhythmic voice
You held me close in all my terrifying dreams
Like a light rain, forming vague rainbows
On the wider heart of morning sky,
You painted the face of snowy petals
All over the shadowy walls of my soul
