Like Mother, Like Daughter Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

Like Mother, Like Daughter

Rating: 5.0

C-old chill and raindrops
H-ave faded into the night;
A-n early morn has broken,
R-ising sun carries light.
L-et twenty-fifth of January
E-liminate the haze and mist;
N-ever let the darkness
E-rase the wish from your list.

M-ake your birthday storm-free,
A-s you see the fine weather;
E-ver lovely day smiles, like mother, like daughter.
