Like The Rain Poem by Babatunde Aremu

Like The Rain

I am like the rain
Neither foe nor friend
Whosoever stays under the sky uncovered
Shall be automatically drenched
So, I'm not for the left or right
All I care for is justice, honesty,
I admire Godliness and transparency
Integrity is my bedmate
These virtues are not negotiable
In them I live
In them I rejoice
If you lack these virtues
Be ready for my pen's venoms
This is the hallmark
Of a true poet.
