Limerick 116 (For Lora) Poem by John Carter Brown

Limerick 116 (For Lora)

Rating: 5.0

A hot-headed girl named Lorraine
Once stood, with no hat, in the rain;
She shouldn't have oughta
But said that the water
Was splendid for cooling the brain.

Warm rain is OK, but cold? .... brrrrrrrrrrr. No, Lora, it's not a great tribute I know - but it's all yours.

Well, I am honored. I've always dreamed of a poem written just for me. (Not exactly what I had envisioned, but......) I do love it. You may have come up with a very good idea. I need to stand in the rain more often. Thank you, John.
