(limerick)fishing In Alaska

Rating: 5.0

"Last week I caught a fish that was just
over eight inches." said the Alaskan to the
Texan who had been bragging about a prize
sixty pound salmon catch,

"Well that's kind of puny." he said in surprise
"Not really my friend.A word to the wise
Sixty pounders...throw em back
Takes too many to fill the sack...
In Alaska we measure em 'tween the eyes."

I saw it coming. That's how we measure 'em in Utah, too! Ha! No salmon in Utah except Kokanee, but I have caught them in California.24 pounds I think was my biggest.
