Stinkbug Shadows, Walking

I've insect-shadows on my book.
Don't believe me? Come and take a look.
They're on outside of my screen;
my window screen I mean.
At me they may be taking a look.

There: 'knickers'; Here: 'panties/undershorts'
Here: 'a flashlight'; There: 'a torch'
Dif'rent words, meanings the same;
if you ask me, it's a shame!
Here: 'cookies' we burn; There: 'biscuits they scorch'!

Hitler Defeated

A British leader some called 'Winnie'...
smoked cigars and was not skinny.
Along with other 'Allies'...
he gave Hitler a surprise;
Europe was saved; call it WIN-'E'! !

Ruth Walters' Poems

A recent one was FAR from her best.
In fact I, Bri, was nearly depressed.
Her others have been quite fine,
perhaps as good as mine!
Of course 'as good as mine' is merely a jest.

Ruth's Messages

I'm ALWAYS glad to hear from Ruth; it's true.
But she spends more time with King Charles; he's 'new'.
Well, he lives close by,
closer than I; I'm Bri.
I think she's in love with....HIS HORSE. It's TRUE!
