I can barely hold with so much eagerness
To possess your hands intertwined with mine
And if I believe this thing woven intricately
Could be ethereal-
Enduring as long as I will,
Ever existent as I persist-
Will you be there to stay?

Only I could hope.

that somehow you believe.

For in truth, life is ephemeral
A certainty beyond our hold.
however, from here
And within the depth of everything left unsaid-
Or, perhaps can never will be-
There, I will linger,
Wanting, enduring...
