Lisa Poem by Marilyn Lott

Lisa

Rating: 4.0

You were a beautiful baby, Lisa
A charmer that’s for sure
Your family loved you dearly
Your life was so secure.

You were born right after Steven was
With a mop of dark curly hair
You joined your happy sister
Who suddenly learned to share!

You were close to your cousin
Only eight days older than you
When you both learned to walk
We loved the things you’d do.

Steven nick-named you ‘Wesa’
‘Teven’ was your name for him
What precious little kids you were
We enjoyed your little whims.

And now you’re getting married
Time has certainly flown by
We all love you so much
It makes us want to cry.

But we know that you’ll be happy
And you’ve made the perfect selection
Someday you’ll have a baby too
Yes, you’re going in the right direction!
