Listen Me Poem by Srushti Dodamani

Listen Me

Rating: 4.3

Can you understand my silence?
I implore you, to listen.
Not when I speak.
I m not myself I talk.
Those are just words
Gathered like souvenirs.

Please listen when I am breathing
I hope you can hear the words
Crowling out of the silence.
In my fumbled breaths
Tell me, can you hear me?
Why am I still alone?

I am smiling giggling
I beg you to ask me again
If, I m okay.
Tell me, will you ask me?
I m not myself when I laugh Like that
It's just my voice,
Imploring you to listen the cries within

What an idea and its beautiful poetic expression. Words happening so effortlessly to construct images that reveal the philosophy of one's life. Thank you so much dear friend.

Drenched deep in the true essence of silent waiting heart to be recognised and understood every word his soul speaks without noise. I can feel the pain of being away. Beautiful words. Admirations
