You know how much I also love the desert, so you know I love this poem. I also have a love affair with rocks and stones, so this poem has especially touched my heart. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. As always they are a real treasure.

I have just recently bought a sculptured pair of hands, white bisque, designed to be God's hands...in them I keep a collection of my stones, quartz, geodes, minerals and such....each supposedly has a healing property all their own. Tiny treasures I like to believe help in my everyday dealings. Thanks for sharing this gem...pun true intended! PEACE...and pretty pebbles
