Little Star Poem by cecil hickman

Little Star

Rating: 5.0

Little star up in the sky,
Looking down, up so high,
Will I find you each night?
Among the others so bright,
If I find you, every night,
Grant my wish so right.
Upon this earth, make peace.
Make all anger and war, cease.
I myself have wishes and dreams.
They are selfish, egotistic it seems.
I desire my dreams to come true.
Grant my first wish; please do.
Little star shine so bright and bold,
Make this night, warm not cold.
Make the night sky twinkle tonight.
Then peace shall never be trite.
