Local Laws Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Local Laws

Local laws

"No leniency to rapists"
People out cry and insist
Death penalty for criminals
And severe punishment for such individuals

Not only had we feed them in prisons
But keep with secured position
Food and medical facility is served
"They are well set here "it is observed

Tiffin box is allowed and food is available
The mobile service is provided and there is no trouble
The crime goes unabated as it is operated from here
Even simple criminals get threats and life is feared

So prisons are now safe homes
Any criminal is welcome
He is at least secured from outside threat
Here at least good treatment with little payment to staff

We can't shut our eyes to reality
It is reign of criminality
Day time robbery or shooting incidences take place
Local laws are not deterring and have turned farce
