LOCKDOWN
Lock in the house,
Lock in the room,
No room for mind to walk,
Reading poetry and music,
Life has become a prose.
World is in lockdown,
Life is in impending doom,
Air of uncertainty is all around,
Human Life is in great distress,
No ray of hope is showing face.
An invisible enemy Strolls
Infecting all on its ways,
Sweeping lives of mortal beings,
We are already Moribund in fear,
Call of death any time can come.
In the face of Nature and its Rule,
We are nothing but a fragile fern,
Helpless and Apoplectic Liege,
All our knowledge ancient and
recent is in great trial,
Science and wisdom are in challenge.
Human foolery is the weapon,
Corona, the hidden enemy choose,
Despite lockdown people go out,
Assemble and preach vain lex,
The undone Zealot is the threat.
India, My Mother Land is in Quandary,
Because of Idiocy people destroy quarantine,
Like Locust on the Street they pass,
They do not care the law of the land,
becoming gregarious they are human weapons.

India, My Mother Land is in Quandary, Because of Idiocy people destroy quarantine, Like Locust on the Street they pass,
Lock Down Makes the beauty Prose instead of poetry Lock Down Makes the music, dance, flute playing, nature Prosaic instead graceful poetry Lock Down Makes all sweets of the world Boring bitter and tears instead poetic beer .....
